Can a SBON certified Posting Consultant advise me on how to sell my home? |

NO. A Posting Consultant’s only duty to you and SBON is to introduce you to our system and provide proper posting guidance. If they do not hold a valid license in Real Estate, Banking, Insurance or credit, they can not and will not provide you with that information. They may however, introduce you to the proper consultant’s licensed in your area to help you and get you started with your task. |

Can an SBON Certified Consultant negotiate for our sellers or buyers? |

Absolutely NOT! As a “by Owner” posting seller with SBON, you are the only person authorized to negotiate and/or reject an offer on your property. Unless, you have given written consent in the form of a listing agreement to a realtor of your choice, and, have notified SBON prior to your decision. You should always consult an attorney with regards to offer and acceptance when you sell your home on your own. While we have many SBON participating Real Estate professionals, all of our consultants are not licensed to sell real estate. |

Who qualifies to be an SBON consultant? |

The first and most important criterion for any potential SBON consultant is that they be of good moral character. Our consultants are qualified industry professionals who have extensive experience in their profession. They must hold a current license in the profession they are in. A current, valid license indicates that this professional has completed and passed all phases of the licensing process, including a criminal back round check in the state in which they reside. |

What does it cost to Post my home and work with an SBON consultant? |

You pay a one time posting fee per home of $49.95. For that you receive all of the benefits provided by SBON. You can post as many pictures of your property as you like, no minimum’s, our consultants will never ask you for money, you will receive additional savings through our local network partners in your area and you are entitled to receive incredible savings of up to 60% off all of your personalized marketing materials. |

Are there any hidden commissions charged to the SBON client? |

NO! We are the home of the 0% real estate commission marketplace. When you complete the sale of your home while posted with SBON you do not pay SBON or its consultants any fee’s. Our consultants have agreed to help you in return for an opportunity to work with you in future business dealings. |

Can I ask my SBON real estate consultant to sell my home for me? |

Absolutely! If you choose to cancel your posting and sign a listing agreement with your SBON real estate consultant that is never a problem. However, you will be bound by your listing agreement and if you wish to continue to post your home on SBON, we will redirect the interested parties to your realtor and they would be responsible for them. Your $49.95 will not be refunded to you at this time. At the SBON, the “Power Of Choice is in your Hands!” |

Can I ask my SBON mortgage consultant to sell my home for me? |

NO! If he is a mortgage professional they are not licensed in sale of real estate. There only function to you and SBON is to provide you with the financial worthiness of your potential buyers. However, if this person holds a current, valid real estate license with a broker as well, then you certainly can. It is against the law to sell a home for another party without holding the proper licensing. This protects you and it is imperative that you agree with SBON’s policy. To find out if a person holds the proper licensing go to the department of banking and insurance and you can look them up directly. |
